585 Ash Street-Where We Are-In The Scheme of Things

We are the red boxed rectangle on the map above-3 miles west of 35E and 3 1/2 miles east of 35W, we are right on Cty Rd J/Ash St/120th. This is the south end of Lino Lakes or off the north side of North Oaks. Cty Rd J is also the County Line with Anoka County to the North and Ramsey to the south.

Over 1000 acres of Ramsey County Open Space is across the road and thousands of acres of Rice Creek Park to our north. North Oaks undeveloped land is also close by.

As you can see most everything else around us is developed. We are very close to parks, schools and shopping. The property is 330 feet wide and 1330 feet deep running north/south. This is about 10 acres.

The house is about 150 feet off the road with a turn-around and trailer parking spot. There is also a 11x12' garden shed. There are small low spots behind the house and to the west of the house that bring wild life right into your back yard.

The horse barn is positioned back and to the left, out of sight of the house. The run-in shed and arena are fully visible so you can usually see the horses if they are lazing around or being ridden. About 8 acres is fenced, everything but the house and yard. There is a fence through the middle of the property so the back 5 acres can be closed off to help "rotate" pastures.
